Dear Parents, Guardians,
Alumni, and Friends of St. Mary’s School:
Greetings from St. Mary’s
School of Sagada!
On behalf of the students, the
faculty, and the staff, I would like to thank all of
you for the overwhelming support that you have given
us in our endeavor to make our school the best in
the Cordilleras. We are working very hard to
re-instill the past glory of our institution --
pertaining not only to its reputation for academic
excellence that the school had once enjoyed, but
also to the inculcation of treasured Christian
values that once distinguished a student of St.
Mary’s School from others.
The School Information section
of this website is a dynamic source of information
of what is happening in the school. Aside from the
history of St. Mary’s, which will soon be updated,
it contains the Principal’s Bulletins which are
actual week-to-week accounts of recent happenings on
campus, current issues, and events in the near
future. These newsletters are reproduced and sent
to parents in our desire to keep them abreast of
what their children are doing on campus. Within
this context, I invite you to read these articles as
a parent whose children are currently enrolled in
school. Hopefully someday, when we are ready, I
would invite you to send your children, or, in the
case of some, your grandchildren to St. Mary’s
School. Also hopefully someday, I can assure you
that your child will receive as good an education,
if not better, than what you have received when you
were here.
I will include a section on
curriculum—what we teach and what our students
learn. We will also have a section on facilities
and resources that will continually be updated—to
inform you of the tools with which we teach.
Finally, we will also have a section on student
achievement, both in academics and extra-curricular
activities.
Have a fun time re-living your
past. Enjoy what is. And then share in our dream
to create future generations of exemplary alumni
that have had the St. Mary’s experience!
